Wilson County Fair

We have a fantastic public library here in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. All the librarians are so sweet and they have a great summer reading program. Not only could the kids earn prizes by reading, but they had special shows/presentations at least 3 days a week for about 2 months! We were able to see some African dancing and a fun magician. At the end of the summer, they had a great water party with a blow up water slide and popsicles for all the kids.

One of the prizes Madelin and Halle were able to earn from their reading was a ticket to the Wilson County fair (the county we live in). Not only did it cover their admission, but they received a free wristband for unlimited rides! Talk about a deal! We all had a great time with the rides, the shows, and the yummy food! My favorite was the chocolate covered cheesecake. :)

The first ride of the evening was the swings. Madelin and Halle even rode some rides with Jason that went upside down! They're much braver than I was at their age.Dad and the girls waiting for the bumper cars to start.

Kimball was such a trooper. He even fell asleep in his stroller towards the end of the evening. I think he enjoyed watching all the rides and people around him.
