Saturday is a special day...but it's always so dang busy!
OK, kidding! A local orthopedic group gave all the kids a "cast" so they could see what having a broken arm was like. Kind of a cool idea we thought. Trying now to figure out how I can work something like that out for braces...
This on is great. Between trips to pick up tomatoes and squash and zucchini etctoplant in the garden, the girls noticed a package from G'ma Mac on the front porch. Open it up and voila, the summer season had begun! Barker's beauties have nothing on ours! Then in the evening, Heather and I went to the tri-stake priest/laurel prom. Kind of fun...great dinner courtesy of the bishop's family. The prom part was like a regular church dance (well, a bt fancier), but nice because people didn't have to take a date. Should give some thought to adopting that in SLC... savea couple bucks! It's fun to hang out with the youth in the ward, thought - between Heather in young women's and me teaching seminary, we sort of thought they'd besick of us by now! Great group of kids, though.
And in between that all today, there was laundry, a huge birthday cake made, pruning, planning YW and Sunday school lessons, etc...just another typical Saturday!
