A few other recent on-goings for our family...

We made a visit to Cheekwood Gardens here in Nashville a few months ago when they were having an exhibit of different treehouses built to depict various children's books.

The kids had a blast with them!

You can see from the photo below that Jeff and Becky Haymore and their crew were up to visit.

Here's a fun pic Heather got one day of Cole hanging out relaxing.  Guess he found Madi's books to be entertaining as much as she does. :-)

Heather and her friend Tara trained for and ran the Middle Half Marathon in October.  Time visible there above them as they crossed the finish line.

They both looked like they had another 5 or 10 miles in them!

Here's Jason in front of "Touchdown Jesus" at Notre Dame. He and a couple friends made a short weekend trip up to South Bend to see BYU play the Irish.

Great game...until Riley struck. :-( But fantastic environment and great experience.  Next time we go, the whole family comes along!

Also made a stop to the College Football Hall of Fame on the trip.

During the kids fall break in October, we took a day hike out in Cedars of Lebanon State Park.  No rattlesnakes, no major meltdowns by the boys (though mom and dad ended up carrying the boys much of the way). Lots of fun!

And here's Madelin's soccer team. She roped dad into coaching this fall. We've got a great team!
