Happy Halloween
So, the girls decided that for Halloween this year they would dress up as the three blind mice. Really, I think they just wanted a reason to wear their sunglasses at night at the end of the autumn. :) They were cuties, though.
That said, their costumes didn't make so much sense when Meagan had to go to bed halfway through the evening...not many folks have heard of two blind mice. Yet Madelin and Halle trudged on, in the pursuit of as much candy as they could carry. Seriously, both their bags were dragging by nights-end. Fortunately for them, their dentist-father knows just what to with all that loot...eat it so the kids don't get cavities! Oh, and here's a photo of us all, including the farmer and his wife (straw hat not included), as well as a binky-free baby, and the neighbor's daughter, who was also a mouse (though not blind).
And here's a photo of our gals with the Bednar gals. Seems like when you get a bunch of girls in one family, you get a theme going in each. Eric looked thrilled to be out with a bunch of butterflies. Halle asked if they were going trick-or-treating to Elder Bednar's...I told her that as fun as trick-or-treating was, they probably weren't going to go to Utah that evening.
